Because care is provided by appointment only and travel time is reserved specifically for you, we ask for advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
At least 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a fee
Missed appointments (“no-shows”) may be charged the full visit rate
This policy allows us to respect time reserved for your care and continue offering flexible scheduling to all patients.
We understand that life happens, and emergencies are always handled with discretion and compassion.
Salt & Spine is a cash-based practice.
Payment is due at the time of service
Accepted forms of payment include debit/credit card and electronic payment options (Venmo, Cash App, PayPal) for convenience
Insurance is not billed directly
Receipts may be provided for personal records or reimbursement purposes when applicable.
Salt & Spine does not participate with insurance networks

Patients are welcome to submit receipts to their provider. Patients may also use HSA or FSA accounts when applicable.

Recommendations are based on your goals, clinical findings, and response to care
There are no pre-set treatment plans or pressure to commit to ongoing care
Visit packages or membership options may be discussed when appropriate
Your autonomy and informed decision-making are always respected
Chiropractic care focuses on evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal function and movement-related concerns.
Care is not a substitute for emergency medical services
Patients may be referred to another healthcare provider if care falls outside the appropriate scope
Ongoing communication ensures care remains safe and appropriate

Pediatric care uses gentle, age-appropriate techniques
Pregnancy-related care is adapted to support comfort, mobility, and safety throughout pregnancy
All care is modified appropriately based on individual needs and clinical presentation

Mutual respect is expected at all times
Any behavior that compromises safety or professionalism may result in discontinuation of care
